Step by Step's mission is to create a healthy, supportive living environment for a person to gain stability, a measure of personal security, and a chance to begin “a new way of life” by drawing strength from other recovering people doing the same.We are dedicated to providing services to chemically dependent males during the early stages of recovery. We assist residents in their gradual re-entry into the community. Step by Step's residents are treated as individuals. They are shown understanding, given respect and offered encouragement and help as needed. We have found that our residents can retain and strengthen their recovery, develop clean and soberliving skills, and explore personal growth. With encouragement, guidance and direction, residentsare given the opportunity to heal and work to gainself-respect and reach their maximum potential.
